Here is a little explanation on what happened:
Last week we were moving to a new server, mindlessly transfering all the noncrucial data first so we don't forget about anything.
There was a mixup in the old servers due date and so as we started transfering the crucial data (websites, mysql, server settings, etc.), the server gets shutoff.
First you'll ask, Why don't you have any backups? ... We forgot. Plain and simple. We were stupid and forgot to do offsite backups.
We assume the next question is Why don't we just pay for another month of hosting? Cause thats money we don't have budgeted, We just paid a big chunk of money for the new server, thats less expensive but still expensive compared to the old server.
What happens now? Well, For the forum we may use a OLD backup and start from scratch w/ just the users ... or keep all the posts. It's still been undecided.
For the rest of the sites? The XDCC site will go back up very soon, The PostDB was pretty much dead activity wise, so we might as well leave it.
